My Inspiration:
Bobbin Lace Hankerchief c. 1800 with fine white detailing.
The crown emblem potentially tells the story that it once belonged to a royal family.
My Creation:
Spring Buddies, c. 2011
What delicate details will you be working on today?
Have a good one :) XO

So feminine and detailed.
Am putting the finishing touches on a painting today. XX
How lovely they both are. They both have such a delicacy to them!
Love your creation! I could stitch that crown on it and deem you queen!! Working on a monogram today for a new baby girl.

very pretty!
That is so clearly royally inspired!!! I am just getting things back in order and purging LOTS of things....heading to the thrift store at my church soon with a carload of things....we just don't need.
Have a great day, Kelly!!

so pretty! I don't have any fine and delicate details to work on today...but this is inspiring!
Hope you had a lovely weekend!
You have that delicate touch - your lovely lacey flowers are so pretty!
xxoo
I planted flowers today for clients, but they were not of the lacy variety. Usually they are, but I finally had a client tell me to go wild with the color, so I did! Bold and beautiful.
However, I need that gorgeous handkerchief to hide my hands. Even with gloves on, they are a fright.
Kelly- what are you planting for summer? And what IS that lovely lacy plant in your photo? You've got me!
Amazing hankie! Can you imagine the things it would have experienced - tears, perfuming, waving, being dropped decadently on the floor to attract a handsome courtisan..! :)
I am painting today and will be adding fine details to a big family tree after this little 'blog break'..
Big hugs
xx C
Me...I won't be doing anything that delicate or creative. Well, maybe...do blog posts for the week count? And I start my new workout/eating regime this week...willpower! Love the photo.
this is very pretty.
That's awesome! What talent :)
Beautiful! This weekend I worked on a few garments for myself... two skirts and two tops. I had to make a quick stop at the fabric store on the way home to grab a couple zippers, of course I came away with an armload of more fabric :)
When does your shop open, darling?
Ann,
I have no idea what it is, but I can find out :) We have been house sitting/cat sitting and she has a LOVELY garden with so many goodies. I will email you with the results!
